As is the case with the aforementioned models, the SUV is not a clean sheet design, but a heavily updated version of the MG Gloster, that will remain available as a cheaper alternative.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2024\/11\/mg-working-on-a-new-ford-ranger-rival\/\">MG Working On A New Ford Ranger Rival<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visually, the Majestor sports a boxier and more aggressive shape compared to its predecessor, with a carry-over greenhouse and a similar profile. The face is dominated by a large grille and a prominent skid plate, flanked by split LED headlights. At the back, the taillights are connected by a full-width LED bar combined with dual tailpipes on the skid plate that doubles as a diffuser.<\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p>According to MG Motor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/India\/\">India<\/a>, the Majestor will be the &ldquo;tallest, longest, and widest&rdquo; model in its segment. As reported by local media, equipment might include features like a heated, cooled, and massaging power seat for the driver, a tri-zone climate control, a 12-speaker audio, a sunroof, and Level 2 ADAS.<\/p>\n<p>MG has yet to announce details about the powertrain lineup. However, local media suggest it will likely be powered by the twin-turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/diesel\">diesel<\/a> of the MG Gloster, which is good for 215 hp (160 kW \/ 218 PS) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque. As for pricing, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autocarindia.com\/car-news\/mg-gloster-facelift-debuts-at-auto-expo-2025-as-majestor-434205\">Autocar India<\/a> expects the SUV to be priced between Rs 40-45 lakh ($46,200-52,000), with others speculating it could be even more expensive.
